Hey everyone! Although my first few batches haven't turned out all that great, I'm pressing on and trying an easier recipe like some of you recommended. It's 5am and I haven't gone to bed yet(I'm usually up until 7, don't be concerned) lol. I'm going to make a batch of 70% olive, 25% coconut and 5% grapeseed! I'm not adding anything at trace (except maybe a little oatmeal, I haven't decided yet.

Today at the grocery store I found some of those silicone molds that some of you told me about. They are even green! My favoritest of colours :) They're the square cake pan style, and I got two of them to fill with hopefully nice and fantastic soap!

I'm off to soap! Wish me luck!

How did it work out?

Congrats on the recipe. My first ever soap was a straight castile. I wanted to see something unscented and uncolored for the first time around.

Pics, pics?

hehe I'm still working on it! I had to clean the soap pot and other stuff, so I'm just about to mix up the lye :) I didn't have much olive oil yet, so I ended up adding 10% shea butter to the recipe. It's not going to end up being a super simple recipe after all :(

I haven't posted a pic before, but here goes nothing! Here's a pic of the soap in the mold that I just made :) I'm hoping it actually turns out!

BONUS IT WORKED!

Looks wonderful!

Very creamy!

Isn't silicone a dream to soap in?
