Would any of you consider commenting on my Granddaugher's new you tube channel? She is my 9 yr old daughter and is trying out doing You Tube. This is the kid that loves watching You tube. Yes, she is well supervised when she watches You Tube. This link is one with her chickies. Thanks all, I know she would be excited to get comments and I won't tell where they came from :D. This is granddaughter that could not speak well until she was 5. So she has come along well...
It is Autumn Zoo

Oh you bet I will!! Is there anything particular I can say that she might find extra encouraging??

And our 10 year old would love to as well - she has her own channel and would love to encourage another newbie!

ETA: Oh it's about chickens!!!! Our little one loves chickens! Autumn will gain 2 subscribers for sure!

Thankyou so much Lenarenne. I think any nice comment would make her happy. My poor baby needs some encouragement and I think this is why her dad helped her set up a channel. She has spent most of this school year being bullied. Her teacher tried a round table approach and of course the kids sided with the bully. Sadly it has become an ethnic issue I am afraid, and who wants to go against the bully...

And what else is the school going to try??? (my mother bear instinct has just kicked in full force!)
go figure... they awarded her with Student of the Month. To answer your question no they are doing nothing else. I just erased the rest of my answer, but I bet you can read between the lines and figure out the problem in our area. We have become pretty gang infested here. Wish my kids could move your direction

Round Table approach to bullying? *eye roll* These people need to read "Lord of the Flies." You got that right.

Forgot to mention this is physical and mental bullying. She has come home with horrible bruises from being kicked. It is really sad when she is such a sweet child. She is the one that raises bugs and even cries when a bug dies

I commented and gave her thumbs up. She is so cute, and did a great job talking about her chickens:thumbs:

I am so sorry she is being bullied, that sweet girl. It breaks my heart.. :(

Rosie and Zebra her older laying chickens run around with polished toenails. :D I am sure everyone noticed she is in the coop with them. Good thing she and her dad keep it clean

And this is why I love this forum, everyone is so supportive, wonderful and awesome-smiley-emoticon.gif

Your granddaughter is absolutely precious. It's horrifying to think of her being abused like that at school, why do kids have to be so cruel?!:(

I have a daughter who has been bullied and the school always makes it seem as though my daughter needs to deal with it better!! Go figure. She is the one who has been tied with a jump rope to a pole during recess and none of the recess monitors were paying attention so how should she deal with that better?? Schools dont want to deal with rhe bullies wither.
Your granddaughter is beautiful and so smart. It is a great thing to get her a youtube channel. I will definitely comment!!

It is so sad when they are bullied and schools ignore it. I hate hearing about children being abused and tied to poles without yard monitors doing anything. I hope it works out and get better for your daughter too. That is totally unacceptable. Your daughter should not have to deal with it on her own, but schools seem to be becoming more inefficient at taking care of anything. Why they think a round table discussion will work and the kids who bully will work goes beyond my imagination. Autumn has been trying to handle it, and always asked her mom not to say anything, but when her quiet little friend received a note telling her she would "Die Happy" she went home and asked her mom if she would try to do something.

I want everyone to know Autumn was so excited last night and was reading every comment to her mom, which is a wonderful plus side to her You Tube since reading is not her strong suit. She loves math but hates reading and spelling. Fortunately she is improving with tutoring. I am constantly stressing to her she has to read well, in order to be accomplished in any career she chooses, which we really think will be in the science field. But who knows, it is a long way off in a child's mind. If they only knew....
