Just got my order in from BB and they gave me a sample of apricot seed powder. I understand its an exfoliant but do you just use it in anytype recipe?? Sorry have only made 3 soap batches so still new to this.

THANKS!!!

You can add it to any recipe you like , a little bit goes a long way . Add it at trace and mix it in well. You don't need to say sorry about any question you ask , we were all new to soap making at one time and someone was kind enough to answer our questions too.:D

Have seen soaps called Kitchen soap and Gardener soaps, would this be used like that not a bath type soap? For some reason I do not drink coffee but keep seeing coffee my husband drinks and wonder if that would make a good liquid instead or in addition to the water. Does anyone have a pic of a soap they made like this?

THANKS ! Just love this board, everyday I log on you guys inspire me to want to try SOOO many more soap things. Gotta find alot of people to share soap with or add on to house. HA!

Here is a pic , I used french vanilla coffee beans, the scent didn't stay .Coffee as the liquid doesn't do much imho , it is the grounds that give it a great scrubby factor. Lots of people make it with a triple strength coffee as the liquid .

WOW thats a beautiful soap. You answered my thoughts as to where it was even worth using. Am leaning toward a coffee or herbal type scent to use the apricot seed powder with I think. Something to have a sink not tub. Of course I guess I need to add that to my ever growing list. So glad dd is going to grandma's Wednesday so I can make another batch of soap. Got some titanium dioxide and watermelon color in the mail today. Hope to use my energy fo! This is bad, all I want to do is soap for the next few days or weeks. Am definitely hooked, not a good thing for a mom thats back in college.

THANKS Kitn, I always enjoy seeing your post. Definitely inspiring to us newbies.
