I am looking for anything natural that would create a light orange/peach color for my apriot scented soap. I am on my experimenting trip again this week and want to make a soap using Apricot Juice in place of water but don't know what to use to color it....perhaps a little paprika?

paprika will give the colour you are looking for. I used it a few weeks ago for a peach scented soap and was happy with the result. I infused 2 teaspoons in some olive oil, I then strained it through some kitchen towel placed inside a sieve. Then I placed the oil infusion onto the scales and topped up with regular olive oil until I reached the weight of oo required for my recipe. It was a 1kg batch.

I do pretty much what Radar does. I put 1-2 tsp of paprika in a container and then pour oil olive over it- perhaps 1-2 tbs. I usually microwave it until the oil is warmed, which you could also do on the stove, and then let it sit for at least an hour. Longer would probably get you a stronger color. I swirl it and then set the container at an angle so the paprika settles into a corner of the container with the oil on top. I don't filter- I just pour off the oil carefully and try to stop before any paprika powder comes out with it. Then I let it settle again for a minute or two and pour off again. I use this colored oil as part of the total of olive oil for the batch. It colors it pretty nicely.

Annatto seeds infused into oo will give you an orange if you add enough or leave it infuse for a bit. If not, you will get more yellow. I have 2 batches in jars, one light and one dark.If you add more of the light, instead of getting a deeper yellow, it tends to bump it up to a lighter orange.
Paprika does give a more peachy color.
Good luc with whatever you choose!

morrocan red clay
it's more orange than red as the name implies

no infusing necessary but use only a small amount or you will get a darker orange and the color you get will probably depend on what your base oils are. It will be a little more earthy than the pastel peach you are maybe looking for but when using natural colorants you're kind of limited. I tried a lot of annatto in a recipe once and only achieved a very dark yellow.

I've used paprika in a few of my soaps with good results, you might also want to add a touch of turmeric to get more peachy color.

paprika would be a good choice.

I used tumeric to add natural colour to my orange poppy seed soap ... and it looked great. A soft peachy orange colour.

I mix turmeric (yellowish alone) and paprika (pinkish alone) to get a peachy orange color. But you have to go very easy on the turmeric. :)

The only colour added to this soap was tumeric! Love it!

They turned out great! I do love poppy seeds, and that color turned out goooood. :)

Here's a pic of one I made using both spices (it's the one on the far left):

(sorry I didn't have any pics of it alone  )
