hi i made a very big batch of c.p soap yesterday i kind off thought something was not right, but carried on anyway:thumbdown: anyway i un molded and its very oily and if you wanted you could put your finger in it or use it like play dough, i know its my measurement think the scales were out:( is there any way i can save it all, or is there any way it could set harder !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:-D thanks x

you can try throwing it in a crockpot and cooking it in the hot process method to see if it will save.

I think the only way is to melt it up in pot (most people would use a crock pot, if you don't have, try double boil method) and see if could be save.

I am not sure if addition lye is required for your case since you mentioned it having access oil. I am not sure if anybody did it this way too ie. adding more lye in a hot process. Let see if there are others who can salvage your situation.

thanks there pie soaps do you think putting in oven would work i no nothing bout re batching and hop process

if you don't have a crockpot you can try putting everything into a stainless steel pot and place it in a very low oven (about 170F or 70C), taking it out about every 20 minutes or so and stirring, and see if it comes together. If it IS a case of mismeasuring, tho, unfortunately there is nothing you can do to save it. There is no way to know what you are missing or by how much.
