Hello All!
I am new. I live in California and have a few batches under my belt... well none that I could use as soap but I got the experience of it. But I hope to improve that. My youngest daughter has eczema and anything store bought makes it worse so I am hoping to have something she can use soon. Just want to say thank you for creating this resource and community and I hope to get to know you all!

My very first batch got DOS ( or atleast what I think was DOS, this was a few years ago) The second batch riced, but at the time I had no idea what ricing was so I threw it out ( ya...newbie). The third never reached trace ( It was fairly high in Olive oil) and my stick blender broke have way through so that got thrown out too after an hour and a half of hand stirring and thinking I had done something wrong. Costly mistakes. Then I have took a hiatus to go to cosmetology school, have a second child and I am back at trying to make my own soap.

lol all lessons earned through experience
