Would a salt bar make a good acne soap? What would be a good 1 lb recipe using any combo of these oils: olive, grapeseed, coconut, avocado, palm, shea butter, jojoba oil, tea tree oil. Would adding salt make a better soap for acne?

This is just anecdotal, but my nephew said the salt soap I made him helped him out with his acne. It didn't totally get rid of it, but it helped to reduce it for him. The one I made for him was made with 100% coconut oil with equal weight of salt to oil, and superfatted at 10%.

Note: If you want some bubbly lather in your salt soaps just make sure your recipe has at least 50% coconut oil in it. Salt kills lather, and since coconut oil soaps are famous amongst fishermen for being able to lather well in salt water above all other soaps, you'll need to make sure to include a goodly portion of it in your salt soap recipe.

i made a salt bar with activated charcoal, aloe 200x, salt, eo=patch and tea tree. my daughter said it worked for her. it was 80% coconut and 20 olive.

i have one curing that has 85% coconut, 15%neem, aloe, act. charcoal, dead sea salt. patch, lavender, tea tree, rose geranium.(these eo's are supposed to be good in one way or another for skin, healing, clearing etc.---the debate is still on weather they come through in cp)

--- i can still smell the neem(wheww)_ next time i will probably use less neem.
i'll let ya know what my testers say-- if i can convince them to try it with that nasty neem.lol
