Acne bar advice

I do not know how you get any decent amount of lather using high palm, unless you are using some tallow and low salt. I have made salt bars for several years and have always found palm to kill lather, but I do use 100% salt most of the time

No coconut, no tallow, and salt at 35% of oils . . . and lots of lather.

I use castor at about 15% of oils -- I really think that helps a lot with lather.

I think using a fine-textured salt helps the bar function better.

It seems like it just plain sea salt, but finer? Or am I wrong and its a different type?

I like this recipe. Not so much the particular oils as the infusion of herbs. I have found that alternating bars helps - a salt bar, this bar, and a "regular" bar (meaning a bar of homemade soap of whatever scent/color I find appealing that day). I also like sulfur bars.

Willow bark extract has salicylic acid in it I believe. That or crush up non coated asprin. That would be more for a face mask. Kaolin clay draws out impurities. Neem oil is good but smells bad.
