Well I got all the ingredients last night and plan to make my first batch tonight. I will be using this recipe below. I used the soap calculator. Please tell me what you think of this recipe and if it sounds right. I am making 1kg, at 33% lye concentration. I need professional advice.

Coconut Oil - 24% - 240 grams (8.47 ounces)
Olive Oil - 44% - 440 grams (15.52 ounces)
Lard - 32% - 320 grams (11.29 ounces)
Lye - 141 grams (4.99 ounces)
Demineralised Water - 287 grams (10.12 ounces)

Ditto! It looks like a good recipe provided you like olive oil in soap. Some people prefer to keep CO below 20% which is a good guide, but I made a bar that had 28% CO that was totally fine for my skin. The 44% olive oil should provide plenty of oleic acid to help offset the potential drying qualities of the CO. And the soap should be hard yet create enough bubbly lather to satisfy. Good choice and good luck!
