Can you use fresh ingredients when you rebatch? These pumpkin and avocado soaps sound so good. I only rebatch though - I'm thinking I can't use it because the lye needs to do something to the food so it won't spoil?

Did your soap have a tinge of yellow to it? Same thing happened to me when I tried to get blue - it came out green. Then when I thought about it, I realized that my soap base color was actually more yellow-y than white. Yellow + Blue=Green... at least 4 years of art school did not totally go...

Yes, I burn them in glasses The glasses are fairly wide, but I guess it would keep the heat in and make it melt like that. I'll try burning one in open air, hopefully that will solve the issue. Thanks!
