I prefer wet, just because I have a tendency to get easily distracted.:-D It does make a very "lovely" smell so I try to do it in as big a batch as I can. I also use my food processor to break it into as small a pieces as I can get before I start and then add the water and render it down after...

When I render Beef Tallow I get between 75-80% depending on where it came from and how cleanly it was cut.:)

:thumbup::thumbup: The one on the right is how the rest of them turned out, The one on the left is what happened when the spice bottle fell into the soap as it was cooling. I kinda like it, although not the desired effect it was only test run to pass out so if it doesn't look 100% no biggie.

I use PVC for my CP soaps and after 24 hours I put it in the oven @170 for 10ish min's and it slides right out. I don't line or prep the PVC either.

I let it set up for 24 hours then into the oven it goes. I check it every 5 mins to see but it usually takes 10 mins. It heats the pvc and the soap is only slightly warm. It does take some pushing but it comes out. I only have one pvc pipe and am usually waiting for the soap to set so I can try...
