    hi and welcome to the forum. i like the colors in your soap. and i love anything peppermint so im sure it smells awesome but i know it can be frustrating when you try to blend oils and not all the scents come through. maybe after more cure time the peppermint will lighten up a little bit

    HP & Coconut Milk ?

    ive used coconut milk during hp and it did not brown...i got a creamy color just a very very light tan. and i didnt freeze it or anything...i just mixed the coconut milk with the lye

    First batch cookin' EDIT: PICTURES

    congrats on your first soap! my first batch didnt turn out as nicely...my scale wasnt very good and i think my oils were incorrectly weighed...my soap came out super slimey and did not feel good to wash with but that was almost 6 years ago...ive come a long way from that with lots of practice...

    First soap for 2011

    i wont be able to get started on soap for 2011 til at least thursday or friday when i get home...i had a surgery the other day and i gotta stay in philadelphia til the stitches come out...it was just minor but its taking away from soap making haha :)
