:?: Ok, so I have been a CP girl for a long time. Since I was old enough to stir grandma's soap bucket! Lately I have been dabbling with CPHP. I stopped using coconut milk in my CP soaps because they always turn brown (even if I freeze it into cubes).

I was wondering, if I added it at the end of HP, would it brown? Would it even work? How much of my liquids can be Coconut Milk? I was thinking if I discount my water to account for the coconut, add my lye to the water, cook the soap in the crock pot and then at the end mix in the Coconut milk...

Anyone think it will work?

My coconut cream soap is white. I put the coconut milk into the freezer for a while and pour off the water leaving the cream. I mix that with the fragrance and add after the cook is done.

ive used coconut milk during hp and it did not brown...i got a creamy color just a very very light tan. and i didnt freeze it or anything...i just mixed the coconut milk with the lye

i always add my coconut milk after the cook, at about one third of the total liquid. i mix it with the sugar and other additives. never has browned on me :)
