    Is brambleberry slow?

My BB order came in three days! I think they are on it. :)

Will I get in trouble for this?

Not to argue, but changing the name would only protect you from a Trademark, not the patent. If you look at the percentages that they use in their trademarked recipe, they cover their bases. The way I see it, is there is only so much tweaking you can do in a recipe for bathbombs. It has to be...

Will I get in trouble for this?

Sounds to me like the US Patents & Trademarks Offices are not doing their homework to see if the names are already in common use. That is a huge problem, in my opinion.

Will I get in trouble for this?

FYI: Lush also just applied to patent foaming bath fizzies too in June of 2011.... it was published in Oct 2013. I'm not sure how to go about it, but if people have been making foaming bath fizzies longer than 2011, they should object to that patent.

Will I get in trouble for this?

Unfortunately, I don't think that changing the name or even changing the amounts of the same ingredients will help. They have patented solid bubble bath bars... just making them (in your recipe) for sale is a violation. Line 20. A process for the production of a surfactant product as defined...

My head is spinning, which printer?

Ohhh, I never gave it a thought that paper bags would be used! Haha! Sorry about that. :)

My head is spinning, which printer?

I would think that the seams in the bag would interfere with the printheads. Unless you get fabric designed for printing (sized to a piece of paper and made for ink) and then sew the bags. I don't think a regular inkjet ink would work on regular fabric like the type used in cotton drawstring...

The Soap Loaf Trademark Drama is OVER!

I know I've said this before, but seriously... a certain large company is a real pain in the patent butt. Do you know that in 2003 they patented solid conditioners...Here Solid bubble bath bars in 2000 here These next are in pre patent phase so if you've been making them for years... they...

    What in the heck!?!?

It's glycerine rivers and stearic crackle! Happens when soap heats up in the gel phase. No big deal. Just cosmetic.

    Cleanup

We use Ajax. It works pretty good. Though the best is a liquid soap mistake that I made a while ago. It's crazy harsh and even cleans out fragrance oil bottles on the first try. Palmolive is marketed to be really nice on hands, so it might not be enough to clean your oils off.

Question about DBA vs Company Name

    Is brambleberry slow?

This just happened. It was 8 days since ordering and I called and left a message with them that my order still said awaiting shipping on their website. I went outside and the package was delivered. I don't think they have been updating the shipping info lately for what ever reason. Which...

    Hello all.

Hi there! Welcome! A simple set up would be: 1. A stainless steel pot. 2. A heavy duty plastic pitcher for your lye water. (I use Rubbermaid) 3. A good digital Scale 4. A good thermometer (there are little hand held ones for under $15 US) 5. A vinyl (plastic) spoon/spatula 6. A stick blender...

    Rosemary oleoresins

If you have an oil with a short shelf life, which extends to the soap if you have a lye discount (in my opinion) an antioxidant will help with shelf life for your soaps. That's what these are, really... ROE, Vit E and Grapefruit Seed Extract. Antioxidants which help keep your soap from...
