    The ONLY time I have ever noticed a difference is when I made a 100% castille. It helped the bar harden quicker. I don't bother with it any other time.

    They are great gentle exfoliant soap bars. I love using mine once or twice a week. Removing all the dead skin cells makes your skin healthier looking and easier to absorb moisturizers.

    Who has used coconut milk?

    Probably everyone on this forum has used coconut milk. I love it and prefer it over GM mainly because I get a whiter bar of soap. You can use it as all or part of your liquid or superfat with it like I do. Since you brought this up....I would like to know if anyone out there has used it as...

    I love Lard Soap...

    My newest fav recipe has 15% Lard in it! I don't know anyone who is apposed to Lard in their soap except those that are vegan.

    CP using a crockpot or hot plates

    I have used my crock pot but it does take longer. It's ok though if you are waiting on your lye water to cool. My crock pot is one of those real litle ones...perfect for 1 to 1-1/2 lb batches.

    An oven process ... of sorts

    Ditto what kitn said. If you want to do an oven method put the whole mold in the oven right after pouring.
