    The Little Efficacious Gentleman

Awe he is just too adorable.. makes my ovaries ache just a bit and I'm so totally done after 5. But pics like this make me want to bug my husband to get a reversal. Too too cute...

    Soap breaking and crumbling,please help!

wow - I've never had this happen before and made a good amount in the last few years... it's interesting how that could happen. I have a few I've forgotten and they have ended up super firm to where my wire cutter won't go through them but none are ever close to crumbling. No clue which were...

Can you tell me about comfrey?

Comfrey is a wonderful herb and a beautiful color and pleasant scent but the scent or color wouldn't really stick. You would need to do as spaceship mentioned and do a double infuse which IMO would be timely and pricey. I just use my infused oil with a bit of natural color if I'm going totally...

Soap still soft after 1 week

Does it look like your soap separated at all maybe from all the heat of the beer and honey together?

High castor soap = hard bar?

Yeah not sure about that one.. maybe they got their names mixed up? Her soap would be all sticky at what 15-20% I think. Could be wrong though but believe over that and you enter the sticky stage.

    I didn't know this :/

FYI - that NG does by weight

    Citrus EOs

I can't use the typical anchors of lemongrass or litsea as they are both migraine triggers for me and imo they smell absolutely awful. I know I'm an oddity in this realm. lol I use a bit of castor oil and bentonite clay for fleeting citrus. And I also used Orange 10x. But one new blend I'll...

    I didn't know this :/

Interesting because I haven't noticed this with my 2 oz. jars. I have SO many of them.. like 50 at any given time even with throw aways, that I like to make batches that use them all up. I still weigh it out though guess out of habit and haven't noticed a difference. Or maybe I just wasn't...

Has Anyone Used The Smith Creek Cutter?

Personally it looks nice and I've seen similar in action before and ooh'd and ahh'd about them, but unless you need a log cutter it's pricey. I've been selling a while and make soap often but still haven't found the need to make one scent so big that I have multiple loaves. I just use my longest...

Is non-fat powdered milk good enough?

I have tried the nonfat powder and IMO it's not as creamy as my powder buttermilk, coconut or goats that all have fats and thus superfat my soap more. But maybe its just in my head lol. I'll be curious to see what others say.

    Print your own labels?

The thing is.. why be so blunt and crass about a question and instead just move on (or leave out the sarcasm) and let someone else who isn't so sorry to say.. uptight about it.. answer these things? I've seen in other posts that you don't like 'repetition' although you stated otherwise. Yes...

    Sugar for bubbles

I use sugar, 1 TBS ppo in every batch but there is a def. difference when I use honey instead. The lather is just fab and my husband will now only use my honey soaps cause he says why use others when they are the best. lol I tried to read back about the powdered sugar but couldn't see why...

    Soaping trigger a migraine?

Depends.. like chocolate is another trigger for me but it can take a while to hit me if it's just a little I have. Sensory triggers are usually quicker and mine start with an annoying ache that turns worse. If I'm in my workshop and doing too many scents and feel something coming on, I have a...

    Brown Kraft Labels

Seriously! I can't tell you how many circles I went through before giving up. I love Maestro but it sucks with round labels and the CS reps can't seem to find the same problem when asked. They even said it was my printer and I got a new one.. same problem. gah! So odd. But glad I'm not the only...
