    Distinguishing Soap Recipes on Etsy

Efficacious Gentleman, I am certainly not trying to pick a fight here as I very much respect your opinions as a fellow soap maker, but I admit that you have me confused as well. Having read the FDA requirements carefully through a couple of times it is clear that soap can be sold as a cosmetic...

I love the "hearts" technique you used! You colors are beautiful and it looks fabulous. I did hearts like that before- it's a fun technique and beautiful. Make sure to post pics of cut bars :-) Cheers! Anna Marie

I think we've all been noobs at some point in soap making...I tried to get complicated on a batch that I had added plumeria to- big mistake! The soap was so ugly that I hid it, so I didn't have to look at it. Then I threw it away :-D Post pictures when yours is done. Who knows? Maybe it will...

    olive oil terror

I don't know if you have a Costco where you are at, but I have always had good results with their olive oil. It is also reasonably priced. Sorry for your oo troubles! I wouldn't think that oo should be so difficult... Cheers! Anna Marie
