Maybe they changed it but my stainless doesn't have a plastic screen and has a large weighing capacity as does the glass one. I wonder if they still make it. It looks like that glass is coated in plastic.

It does stay the same color when you add it at the end since it isn't getting heated or saponified but unfortunately the benefits of the milk aren't the same. Take your milk through the cook with a browning FO- you'll see the difference.

This exactly... But with the influx of new soapers it is that easy and unfortunately a lot of them are turning out bad soap and selling after a few months. Sad but true..

I'm with lsg- unmold it as long as it isn't warm. Is there something that should be wrong with it or that you were worried about? It looks like pretty soap.

I mostly HP and I cook my GM soaps. First thing to know about it is- GM soap will always separate during the cook and we are talking full separation- you will need to stick blend it together when it happens- probably a half hour through the cook. Your soap will not be ruined but be warned it...

You can remove ash by steaming the top of the soap and wiping gently. I think there may be a You Tube video on it somewhere. I got ash every time I didn't gel period except if I use a mold that a bought from a fellow soaper on here. I have not gotten one bit of ash with them gelled or non...

You want to start scoping out sprayable lotion recipes- try Lotioncrafter- they might have one up. As far as lotion making goes- it's all trial and error to get the right percentages of ingredients down once you learn how to make lotion. I make regular lotions but not sprayable- my guess is...

Off topic- but what states require site inspection? I have never heard this about the USA- I know they do it in Europe and Canada though.

My family does this too (my friends know better)- BBW makes me itch which is why I began making my own soap to begin with. You can probably get good money for that stuff on Ebay.

I would do guest size bars for a wedding. I saw some at a wedding I was at- they had guest sized Rose MP bars wrapped in black and white paper- like random book pages, tied with red ribbon with the couple's name on the front with the wedding day. Very simple and classy. I liked it. Packaging...
