I disolve 1% sugar before my lye and I do 33% lye concentration. My plan was a 3% superfat but given my loaf is still soft 48 hrs later I think it's either a high superfat or the cocoa powder I used for coloring decided to do something.

Yeah. The only thing different is that I finally switched to a plastic container. The lye kept crusting up and I had to keep breaking it up to get it to disolve 🤷‍♀️. I'll have to see if it happens again when I make another batch.

@Servant4Christ. You were right! I just tried the cardboard (I'd already made it and figured it wouldn't hurt to try). It kind of worked but had too much bleed through the bottom when I first started pouring.
