actually it was not hard to make, i thought that it would be and was afraid that i would mess it up, but it was easy and alot of fun....as far as forums this is about the only one that i go to and don't find the other forums helpful as i find soapmaking forum...i was just going through youtube...

thanks, store bought lotion never worked for me they were either too greasy, did not moisturize enough or made me itchy. so far the lotion that i made is working well...my husband even likes it...

yep, it sure does....better to know what you put in it....gotta go and order more supplies to make other stuff, lol....i'm addicted to ordering supplies for what i make... :lol:

hi all, just wanted to share with you that i made my first body lotion and it came out great, smells real good too...before i made it i really thought that it would come out too thick or watery, but it did not...i'm really enjoying all this crafting from mmu, soaps and lotions....it's a geat way...

yes i plan to do that next time, i just thought that i'd try this out though..just wanted to see how i would do for my first time..

soap kit woohoo i just received my kit today and am sooo excited to try it out....but i want to know whether i should mix the lye in a plastic container or glass....some say plastice and some say glass, but i read somewhere that someone had used a pyrex glass mixing cup and it exploded when she...

i purchased it for $31, mine does not come with a mold just the oils, essential oil, lye and thermometer.

yes i think it is a neat idea myself, this would give me a chance to experience making cp soap in a small batch, and until i get comfortable with handling lye....just can't wait to try it out... :)

Re: Soap Making kit no, i got mine through sun feathers it came complete with oils, essential oil, thermometer and lye, they were already premeasured and enough to make 2 lbs. of soap.
