Ok, I think I understand the concept on how to make them, BUT...Do you need to let them cure befor you add them to the batch of soap? Won't they melt when the new soap gels? I REALLY want to try this, I just want to have my facts straight! Thanks!!

so when you make the balls, did you actually shred the soap? Like with a cheese grater? and the smush it together? Or could you just scoop out a melon baller size and roll it up? If you shred it do you have to add water??

They are called LorAnnOils. I get them at a little shop. They are in one ounce bottles. I've used quite a few of them. The peaches and cream is delish! The pineapple Mango is great. I really like their Vanilla Sugar too. I just bought but have yet to use the Cucumber Melon, Pumpkin Spice...

Kitn--how much did you put in per pound of oils?? I usually do a 2lb batch....

So to add to this------if I"m making pumpkin spice soap can I add some caned pumpkin and turn it orange?? Do I adjust my water like the cucumber?? I'm so into this now!

So I got some Cucumber Melon FO and was thinking about actually putting in some cucumber pieces or slices from a veggie peeler. Is this a good or bad idea? Will the cucumber go bad? Turn Black? People put berries and stuff in their soap, it's the same thing right?? Or am I going too far??

I got the pumpkins and the skulls! Two of each!! and at Wal-mart I got bigger pumpkins! I was wondering if you guys greese the silicon with anything or just go for it naked? I got "Pumpkin Spice" FO today too!!! Can't wait!!

I wasn't clear on that. There's a way to transfer your info from 2.8 to 3.0 but I didn't know if that ment the trial so I just started over. The full version is different and much more detailed so I figure it's good to learn everything right from the begining. It is a pain but TOTALLY worth it....

I'm not gonna lie. The set up sucks. Putting in all your oils and stuff and how much they cost. I'm still getting the hang of it, but I know it's worth it. I saw the upgrades were cheap, like $40 when it comes time. I"m not worried about it.....

The molds are on Ebay, people seem to like them....

Well this morning I bit the bullet and purchesed Soapmaker 3 AND a set of MrDoright or MrDoGood (Whatever they are called!) molds! I got the 3-4lb. set with 2 molds and the one for cutting soap and the cutter. They say non-stick but are they really? I'm thinking press n' Seal them anyway...

well I tried it! I did 1 TBL for two pounds of oils, it got REALLY dark. I don't know if it will last but right now it smells great!!!!
