    I am not really sure, I guess I can just add a little of both?? Right now it is real hard to melt them (even rubbing them in my hands). Little bits rub off but they are even hard to melt.

    They are SUPER easy, you should try!!! Hardest part is cutting the beeswax, I am going to try grating it next time, that stuff is SOOOO hard!

    Aww thanks! I think I am going to love them to. I accidently got oil all over my hands in the process and rubbed it all over me, I cant wait to try them out.

    These are my first lotion bars! They were made using shea butter, beeswax, sunflower oil and sweet almond oil. ETA I also added vit e and 6 drops of lemon essential oil to combat the strong honey smell of the beeswax.

    Speek things up!

    I would like to know an answer to this too. One time I added ice, dont know if that is okay or not and did not seem to help. The next time I put my lye water cup in the sink in ice water but it is still so slow!

    My very first two batches of cp soap! :) The first batch Oatmeal Goatmilk and Honey The Second batch Lavender Baby Powder Goatmilk Soap Soap in the back left corner is a Vanilla and Honey with Coffee ETA opps I guess I dont know my left from my right :oops:

    FO's local stores for soap??

    All the fragrance oils I have seen at walmart say not to get it on the skin, so I am assuming they are not safe. I did find fo at michaels that are intended for soap on the isle with the m&p soap.

    I used to use apricot kernel oil when my ds had a rash but he hasnt had one since I switched to cloth diapers 02/08 so its been a while. I guess I could use that again, it did clean very well but I always made such a mess with it!
