These are my first lotion bars! They were made using shea butter, beeswax, sunflower oil and sweet almond oil. ETA I also added vit e and 6 drops of lemon essential oil to combat the strong honey smell of the beeswax.

Aww thanks! I think I am going to love them to. I accidently got oil all over my hands in the process and rubbed it all over me, I cant wait to try them out.

Very nice, I would love to make lotion bars.
They are SUPER easy, you should try!!! Hardest part is cutting the beeswax, I am going to try grating it next time, that stuff is SOOOO hard!

I just started looking into lotion bars...may I ask you how you did these?

Cheers
Deb

nice, but why grate beeswax, they sell it in pastilles at many places, like oils by nature, love it, just melt!

Very nice ! That would be wonderful on dry feet at night with a pair of wool socks.

You can tell I'm on a diet because all I can think is "mmmmm white chocolate Resse's Peanut Butter Cups!"....lol.
They look great! :::stomach growl:::

I'm going to ask a stupid question..... :oops: :oops: :oops: :oops: what is a lotion bar? do you use it like soap? or is it a solid moisturizing bar? <gulp>

It's solid lotion, soapbubble. You take them and rub them on your skin and they melt into your skin from the warmth of your body.

Thanks, LJA for letting me know. I'm learning something new everytime I come here.. :D

Liz- those look so nice and creamy. THey must feel wonderful on the skin! Got to learn how to make those...

thanks for sharing!
