sorry it took so long, and for the quality of doc, I took pictures of my ebook for directions :) .

My husband made my planer from scrap wood in the garage and instructions he got off of net. There are videos on making them on you tube too.

I plane some but not all of mine, depends on what they end up looking like :) But I don't bevel or plane till right before I am ready to wrap them. So about the beginning of week 4.

Yikes I didn't think about the yellowing!! I might have to put this one on the backburner till I am feeling braver. Or figure out a way to make that discoloration work for me.

Hi, had some left over evaporated milk from making mashed potatoes :) and was wondering of I could use it in my soap? Has anyone used evaporated milk before? To my understanding it is just milk that has had some of the water removed... so it should work. Right?:-?:???:

I don't know about mold, but you will need to add a FO because the coffee smell won't make it through saponification.. Also if you use the coffee instead of water try to make it double strength and freeze it first. Just freeze it in ice cube tray and slowly add lye to the ice, that way you won't...

did you mix by hand or use a stick mixer? If by hand that could explain why it took so long. I would check it after a couple of days and see what you have. Just keep it covered and off where no one will bother it.

I wonder if they are mixing their own? taking the different components and creating their own version? Its banana, grapefruit, and coconut and other fruits. You could pick a tropical blend and mix with banana and grapefruit and make own version. This would probably be more expensive but you...

I always measure by weight, I think its more accurate also.
