Zinc oxide in lip balm

Anyone have a recommended measurement for zinc oxide powder in lip balm (as a sunblock)?

(you know it would be illegal to sell with the mention of sunscreen without testing and approval, right?)

who would you send it to for testing?

Suncare Research Laboratories, Winston Salem, NC - they did our testing.

Once your product passes all the testing and you comply with the FDA monograph for sunscreens you can sell/market a specific SPF lip balm.

It can be a pricey/lengthy process.

I don't sell the stuff... it's just for myself, family and friends.
