I have pureed my mandarins for the Citrus Soap Challenge, prepared the coffee for a coffee soap and I plan on making at least 2 other soaps (haven't decided on fragrances yet).

What's in your soap pot this weekend?

I just poured a green tea soap into the mold. I am not sure how it is going to turn out, the tea infusion may have been too strong and the batter ended up being mostly brown with a hint of green, not at all appealing to me. (The green was mostly from the touch of colorant I added). Another possible culprit for the color might be that it was really cheap green tea that we got for Yule.

Made a batch of lavender soap, Oatmilk milk & honey soap, whipped Yuzu shea butter and am trying to decide between Orange Cinnamon shampoo bar or Orange Peppermint shampoo bar.

Green tea is usually brown right away. Sometimes it lightens up a bit though.

Okay, it is good to know that it was not something I did wrong and that most green tea soaps turn brown. I do hope it lightens up some, but if it doesn't it should still work fine :)

I've made an 80% CoconutOil 20% EVOO (handpressed) today, TDO Ultramarine and PinkPearl, FO Coconut No Allergi.
Tomorrow I'll make orange soap - ½ batch - the juice is separating in the fridge right now. PaellaColour powder, and Orange FO, hope it works.
And, if my back is ok, I'll make a natural GLS with EVCoconutOil + EVCanola tomorrow too.

My DH want me to make him some sweet rolls with carrots, but he has to wait, until the kitchen is soapfree

I will be making a Strawberry Champagne soap today, maybe Cucumber Melon if I'm feeling motivated. Need to get to work on some bath truffles for an order and some sugar scrubs to go with. Need to get going on a 6 lb batch of OMH as well.

I just made a sugar soap bar...weird recipe, we will see what happens! It smells DIVINE though with lemon drop FO. I also made an Apple Mango Tango Bar with 3 colors separated by charcoal pencil lines. It was an ambitious day :)

So far today...

1lb test batch Tiger Tail
3lb batch Spearmint Lavender Smoothy
Rebatch - Lye heavy Goat Milk
Rebatch - Lye heavy Yogurt
Sliced batches
Will be buying a new scale - I think my old one is acting up hence the lye issues all of a sudden with a tried and true recipe that I've been using for over a year...grrrrr! Lye heavy milk soaps were my own **** fault though...lol.

Tomorrow will be making a batch of Spearmint Lavender Scrubby and whatever else catches my fancy!

My brain hurts..lol.:-|

Well I am out of FO and EO so I'm making nothing!!! I am patiently waiting for my patchouli, lavender, and peppermint EO as well as my amber romance, bubblegum, and sweet pea FO to come in the mail. So soaping next weekend for sure!!! My brother in Korea gets the patchouli, my SIL gets the lavender-peppermint, my niece and nephew get the bubble gum, my mom gets the sweet pea, and finally I get the amber romance ;)

Orange cinnamon sounds super yummy!!!!!!!

Yeah, Orange Cinnamon does sound really yummy... I have been thinking of orange and clove, but now I am thinking of adding cinnamon too. Of course, having orange, cinnamon and clove would help ;-)

So far no soapmaking for me. I've been trimming and labeling all the soaps I have that are more than 6 weeks old. Even that has been enjoyable- I did not know how much I actually had! (You know how that happens?) But I only have 4 batches left to do, so I may actually get to MAKE soap tomorrow.

In the process I finally found the Lebermuth Rose fo soap I made ages ago, wondering if the scent (which is 10 years old) would stick. It did!!! So my next soap will be more Rose scented! Also earlier this week I made my first visit to a nearby town to buy unpasteurized goats milk. What I have not consumed I have been freezing to use for soap. Better get more frozen before I drink it all!!

So far Irish lemon pudding is cooking...so soap making will commence tomorrow! However, I am planning on making confetti soap by taking my "year you were born" challenge soap, shredding and adding to some new soap!
