Well it is wrapped up sitting on my table because it is 5 below outside and that is the warmest spot in this drafty old house! lol

I think I did it right and plan on doing another right after dinner! lol going to try kitchen soap using coffee and whole beans.. I hope that works ok.. Ived used the whole beans in M&P and it is really cool!!!

Another question... I know you can add beer to soap but what about wine? I have read often of people adding it to bath water.. what about soap???

Tonight I did my first CP batch as well and I've been peeking at it every 5 freakin' minutes. I'm dying for tomorrow to get here so I can see if it worked or not.

I was wondering about wine myself.. I'm doing a soap with Merlot FO and planning to market it to a local winery/vineyard and I want to use their wine in it.

I know that beer has to be ABSOLUTELY flat to use in soap, but I haven't heard anything about using wine...

well I knew I would be hooked lol it always starts innocent enough next think I know I dont sleep for 3 days and hubby has to do an intervention lol.. Im getting ready to do kitchen soap next and am wondering about adding cranberry juice to a batch. would really love to try the wine tho. I have a 1/2 bottle in the fridge from NYE that is just going end up down the drain anyway.. lol

Try using instant coffee so you can get it really, really, really strong! My uncle suggested this for making it strong enough for the scent you be stronger....I'm going to do this for my next batch of kitchen soap... 8)

Heh heh heh. Check out my whine about wine thread. I am keen to know if anyone will have some tips about making soap with wine. I know it's possible, 'cause I've seen wine soaps online.
