I was thinking the other day (oh oh). I made an aftershave with coconut, witch hazel, and an FO. Of course over time, the coconut oil and witch hazel separate. It just so happens I have a large amount of xanthan gum from my hot sauce making days. So I was wondering, can you or do people use xanthan gum in lotions, aftershaves, and similar homemade projects?

i dont know but have seen lecithin capsules used as a thickener/glue. But i cant say that i have seen it in shaving soap.
