You know that elusive true black we all look for ? Well, unfortunately, I found it and I fear my 5 color concoction will suffer from dead-gray lather. Ugh. It might look cool when it's done sleeping, but it will defiitely be on the fugly lather list. It was supposed to be like an ITP swirl, but it started setting up to pudding too quickly so it's a 5 color-ITP plop. :?

:( , you could always call it coal soap and go first footing with it!

For those that don't know, Scottish tradition, just after new year you first foot, as in the first foot through the door after new year, it involves drinking drams of course!

I made a layered Patch with Black oxide and it is black as black, but yes lathers grey. I was checking my recipe notes and I accidently put in 1tbsp of oxide instead of 1tsp.
