I don't know anything about how oranges would do put into raw soap, I have however made a soap cake, let it cure a few weeks, drizzled it with melt and pour and placed dried oranges around the outside, stuck on with the mp. They stayed fine for a very long time. naturally took em off before we used the soap.

Toni, What a fantastic idea!

I finally cut my orange soap today and packaged it up. It came out great and smells wonderful. Big bars, I wanted to make sure each slice had an orange. I suggest that it be halved because it is too big to use as is. Nice to share with a friend. The spots are finely chopped orange peel.

Wow! Thats so cute! Just curious, but did you wait a full month to cut your log? I never know when to cut, my last batch I waited 5 days and it still seemed too soon, but I'm afraid it wont dry properly if I don't cut it soon after it sets!!!

That looks great!

I was looking at your other pics too & your packaging is gorgeous!

As far as cutting my soap I usually let it cure about 4 weeks as a whole log, then I cut it and let it dry another week or two.

Looks really nice I can almost smell the orange in it
