Working with cinnamon???

What are any precautions to take when working with cinnamon essential oil , i know you have to dilute in stay on products but what about soap? do i dilute, put less of or just add normal quantities. what about if a pregnant woman or children under 6 use my soap will it still be a problem?

I use cinnamon EO frequently in soap. It will indeed cause irritation if used at the full amount in CP soap. If I stay at or below half the recommended amount of EO, it is fine. I don't know about pregnancy or children, but will look it up.

Pregnancy and breast-feeding: Not enough is known about the use of cassia cinnamon during pregnancy and breast-feeding. Stay on the safe side and avoid use.

Which makes a whole lot of sense to me.
