So I posted in the CP forum about my "to make" list, and wanting to know about others lists. Well, I apparently have way too much time on my hands cause my list is getting a work out lol. Here I have Banana Coconut Milk, used a whole banana and 1.5 ounce coconut milk pureed into a sludge and added at trace. Used a teaspoon of banana FO and 1 1/2 TBSP coconut FO to help fragrances come through in the final product. Its been about a week since I made this loaf and it initially it was very dark (full gel), but now is lightening up as it dries out.

Next up is "Tomato Soup", made today especially for my hubby as his V-Day gift. Its his favorite comfort food so I decided why not make it into something he could use daily  Added 1oz tomato puree, 2 TBSP powdered goat milk, .75oz Tomato Leaf & Coriander FO which is a nice fresh scent. If anyone knows the Burts Bees tomato care line, it smells similar to that. Also, the lighter orange color is the end result color, I added red clay to get the nicer red shade and did some kind of swirl or other lol. Thanks for looking!

Congrats on whittling your list down! That banana soap looks reeeeeally good. Almost like a yummy piece of banana bread. Can't wait to see the tomato soap cut! I made a soap off my "to make" list, too (HP Hemp Soap). I'm so glad you started that thread. Thank you!

The tomato soap  and that fragrance and the clay. Genius combo. I suddenly don't give a hoot about the rest of my soap list. I'm all about tomato soap as of now. Oh and putting the coconut milk with the banana sounded awesome too.

:wtf: There's a serious level of pressure going on here! Lol!

Ok so something happened to my tomato soap, dunno if it was additives in the sauce (citric acid) or I used too much (1oz to 18oz oils) but it gelled way hotter than any other soap I've made before, and when I checked on it it looked like liquid! I put it under a fan to blow off the heat and it returned to normal, but I noticed it is a bit oily, like maybe the acid neutralized a bit of the lye so there was excess oil??? Dunno, but it looks much better today and I'm sure after its cure time there will be no issues.

Don't know if y'all can see how the texture is kinda spongy looking? Tiny amounts of excess oil, but again I know it'll cure just fine.

Woohoo the cut tomato pics. Looks yummo to me. I had a soap do that once and it ended up fine. Your hubby is super lucky to score those soaps!

Pretty sure its my own fault...I started out wanting to use a milky way mold, so I preheated the oven to get a gel, but decided to do the swirl with clay in my silicone mold which always gels on its own (probably because it retains heat so well???). Anyway the oven was warm, not hot, but still too much for silicone and it overheated. Live & learn. Still looks and smells good, sure he's gonna enjoy it
