i tried my hand at master batching some lip balm. i was doing it with my brand new just bought today scale, but for some reason the darn thing kept turning off while i was measuring, so I got distracted.
go forward a few hours and something in bugging me about my balm but i havent been able to figure it out. I go through my steps in my head over and over until i finally realize what i did wrong... I forgot to put in the beeswax! :roll: i thought that the recipe looked kinda small compared to what i had planned...lol the worst part is that i had everything set out and i had a check list, and i still missed it.:shock:
i remelted my mix and added the BW and melted it all in and now it is looking much better.
i did get a really cool thing at the store though. it is a microwave safe pot that is just big enough to melt down my solid oils for soaping/balms etc. no more stove top for me
