I was known locally as The Rose Lady years ago. I grew over 100 rose varieties and hybridized them, too. I use rose absolute for a fragrance locket. Most of the FOs for soap have a strange fake fragrance note in the formula. The one rose FO I found and highly recommend is
English Tea Rose manufactured by Lebermuth, carried by the Chemistry Store. It’s great for blending and
sticks in CPOP. I don’t know how it compares to Wild Rose FO, but I doubt you’d be disappointed.

Don’t be put off by the word “chemistry” in the store name. Their products are comparable to other suppliers. The FO & EO quality and prices are excellent. One issue is that CS doesn’t post IFRA on the website. For that, you have to visit Lebermuth.com>Resouces>Regulatory Portal and enter the FO name. Another challenge is a couple CS names are not the same as those used by Lebermuth.
In case you’re wondering, I now only grow a dozen survivor roses. The winter kept killing many of my original collection and deer ate most of the remainder, so I moved on to soap and dichroic fused glass.
Edit to add: The only rose FO currently offered by Lebermuth is
Rose II. That product page has a direct link to download all regulatory documents. Much easier than before.
