Wick Flooding Fix?

Hey guys just after I thought i got the right size wick I am running into another problem. After burning the candle for 2+ hours the flame starts to get flooded by the melted wax.

I poured out the melted wax and relight the candle and that seemed to fit the problem but I am wanting to know how to prevent it from happening.

Any tips and tricks would be helpful! Thanks again guys! :headbanging:

I only used 1oz of fragrance for a 16 oz candle.

If its flooding the wick after a two hour burn the wick is too big.

What is the diameter measurement of your container? Can you tell us what type of wax you're using and what type of wick? I agree, it's too big. You should never have to pour out melted wax, as I'm sure you already know!
