"trust" - if you look at that post you'll see I discovered I was wrong. I discovered that there really isn't any such thing as vanilla essential oil.

Oh. Well, I don't know as much about Miss Dior as I do about Diorissimo but I guess that they had to reformulate Miss Dior to conform to the new EU standards, as they had to reformulate Diorissimo. Virtually all of the old formulas were reformed for that reason. They are not as good. Oh well.

They might have had to change the perfumes for the new rules but they changed Miss Dior completely and brought out a new Miss Dior. The was so much uproar that the brought the original back (it is really good still) AND kept the new one.

You have to seek out the original one (wish the would just label it that) as not everyone carries it.

So they have two Miss Dior's? (not Miss Dior Cherie.) That's weird.

I only know about Diorissimo - the reformed one is lovely but the pre-EU rules Diorissimo is IMO astonishing. I learned a lot by reading about how the forumulator, Roudnitsa, worked for years to create a true LoTV scent. Not easy. When I compare Diorissimo to a regular commercial LoTV fragrance oil, I appreciate his artistry.

I wish I still had my mother's herringbone bottle but back in the day, it was out with the old.
