Hello everyone! I am going to attempt Nizzy's famous whipped soap recipe for the first time!!! I'm super excited but I am experimenting and trying a new mold....a pie dish. It's ceramic and I was wondering if I use Saran wrap do you think it will be enough or should I stick with freezer/wax paper? Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Big letters in my notebook last time I made it:

LINE THE MOLD!

Also, I used lard but didn't scent it and I wish I had, the soap I scented is great but unscented isn't as nice. I also did a batch with crisco and I liked that even better.

Thanks! I have Crisco in the fridge now and my other oils are just ones I need to use up before I can reorder. I have mango butter, olive oil, castor oil and rice bran oil. Hoping I can make a decent recipe outta those. I have only rosemary eo and tea tree eo but I don't think either of those play nice together. Any experience there? I have some jasmine and lavender floral water, maybe I can try those?

Rosemary and tea tree actually are ok together. Add some peppermint and you will be very happy.

Okay I followed everyone's advice (I totally ran and bought some peppermint eo!). Also I used saran wrap around the whole pan and cut a circle of freezer wrap for the bottom to give it more weight. Will post pics tomorrow before and after cut. Thanks for all the help guys, it's always very much appreciated :)
