For all of you who make lotions, bath salts, bombs and all sorts of yummy stuff i see here...im curious. Do you come up with recipes yourself or do you get them somewhere (WHERE?)then adapt them..? Im kind of stuck here, as i see all these great products but have not been able to find any recipes that come out good enough. Im done trying with Janice Cox's book...it was nice while it lasted but its just not good enough anymore. Any suggestions?

www.snowdriftfarm.com has a ton of recipes in their formulary. They're all over the internet, really. Some good, some not so good. They''ll give you a good jumping off point to mess with them and make them your own though. Read your face off. You'll learn tons. You can also check out YouTube for "how to" videos. You can find some basic stuff there too.
Good luck! :)

I love to read around for recipes, then play - make them my own. Test different additives, emulsifiers, liquids and oils.

My current favs are Glyceryl Stearate, BTMS, Aloe Vera and Hemp Seed Oil with a kicker of Cyclo. Oh, the satiny goodness!
