A friend of my mother's recently asked me to make patchouli & gardenia soap. Apparently she bought some years ago and loved it. It sounds like an intriguing combo so I'd like to give it go. For those of you that have purchased gardenia, what's been your favorite? Thanks everyone!

My favorite is Tahitian Tiare Flower (a type of gardenia) from TheScentWorks: http://store.scent-works.com/tatifl.html Their description says it's a "veritable swoon in a bottle", and I have to agree. It moves fast in my CP, but I've learned to stay one step ahead of it so that it doesn't get away from me.

I haven't used a straight gardenia, but WSP's Honeysuckle Gardenia sells very well for me.
I'm not a big floral person but I really like honeysuckle. I'll look into that one too. Thanks gunsmithgirl!
The gardenia from Peak is pretty nice. I haven't soaped it yet but make roll on perfume and solid perfume with it and customers seem to like it. I plan on making soap with it next.
