Awwww congrats, Grammy Kitn!! :D It's been awhile since I've had babies...what's a mai tai carrier? I mean, I know what a carrier is, but not sure about the mai tai part...

Thank you .

LJA It is called an asian baby carrier , when I had babies we used snugglies (sp) to carry babe around , now they have these mai tais . I am so confuzzled and frustrated with the thing I had to quit for a bit . I don't have a pattern and the tut I am relying on isn't great .I have it 3/4 done , yeah !! I think I will make my soap and go back to it later , much later

Your new bradnbaby will be happy, my 19 month old LOVES our mei tei and so do I. Good luck with the sewing.

I made some Castille but it looks funny. Still waiting for it to finish, hopefully I didn't mess up somewhere along the way.

I made "mt lake" mans soap for hubby, he said he wanted blue, so i added lots of oxide, ts blue alright! Now i may make some cp, not sure what fo.

I've been wondering about that FO, Honor. Did you like it?

I made some sweatpea soaps that were such a disaster, that they all went into the bin! :( I tried to whip M&P soap - it was a mess. I just wanted to see if it was possible.

I can't do much else, as I have no fragrances at the mo. I have to buy some insurance on Monday, and a set of Trading Standards scales, then I can place my order (£320!!) and get going again. Until then, I have a chance to finish my chainmaille necklace before supplies arrive later in the week. :D

i thought I'd make some soap on a stick scented with a freebie of fruit heaven (fruit punch drink)!

Tried to do a white soap with a dark pink/red ITP swirl only to have my base soap solidify and then I had to stir in my pink color and squish it into the mold. I have it sitting in the oven. Not looking good at all, but smells so yummy! I don't care what it looks like anymore, just as long as it's soap!

I've been delaying my sewing stuff, but will start now.

  Not good. All it did was dry out! I mushed it up and it's in a pan now waiting for the oven again. Added a little more water. Waiting for DH to get home so we can get food for dinner and then I guess it's oven rebatch. Looking back I should've done HP after the disaster, not CPOP, but it's worked before. I just need to get it melted again so I can mix it with a blender. There were pockets of oil throughout.

It smells good and it's a pretty pink. I won't let this fail!!

ETA: Melted everything and whipped it. Put it in some simple molds from Michaels (with air pockets) and is sitting in the fridge. Will NOT be posting pictures.
