What soapy mistake have you made today?

Maybe a good candidate for chopping up and using in this months challenge?
You are in good company with the oil blunder. Many of us have done that.

That would make some sort of soap inception it already is a ciaglia soap with shreddings.
And sadly, that is the only soap I will have time to make in January.
I had an other look at it this morning and it is not that bad now. More of a grayish green. Still not very pretty but okay enough to give away to friends.

Would you mind telling us what the color end up being after saponification is complete? During the experience mentioned by @Mobjack Bay, when I tried coloring my soap with "fake" purple clay, I first had grayish batter that ended up being plain white in the final soap...
The fact that you had different results using the same product differently makes me wonder if I should give this clay an other try.

I will - I did add more UM purple and it’s now sort of purplish gray. It was more purple on the outside, greenish on the inside.
