What other soaps should I experience at least once?

My absolute favourite soap is Tallow (already rendered), egg & lanolin. Of course there are other oils in there but this soap is the bomb for moisturizing and conditioning! I add milk into it as well and keep your lanolin down to about 5% of your oils otherwise it will start to cut lather.

Coconut cream or milk soap. I don't use it for all the liquid myself because it made for a very soft bar but in a lesser amount I love it. I feel guilty for never trying to make a salt bar so why don't I? But I want to!

I think anyone who renders their own tallow deserves a medal That I probably won't ever do.

What about vinegar soap? :p I read on one site that someone had made a vinegar and honey soap and it actually turned out good for them.

I am really interested in some of these soaps. How long of a shelf life do yogurt, avocado and carrot soaps have? I tend to keep my soaps for awhile, up to a year.

I would think the vinegar would deactivate the lye??

I'm currently using one of my avocado puree soaps that I made 2 years ago, and it's still as fresh as a daisy. I also used cucumber juice as my liquid in the same soap. I have a few other avocado bars older than that and they are just fine as well. The same goes for my other 'foodie' soaps. As long as the food is either juiced or as finely pureed as you can get it, there shouldn't be any issues with it in CP. At least I've never had any.

I had a HP carrot puree (organic carrot baby food) soap that had been around for almost a year and it was still very, very nice. No change at all.
