What made you pick your avatar/ username?!

Hello,
My user name is The Humble Goat, the name of my business. Actually I had the name first, it just came to me and I was thinking “what’s more humble than a goat?” Then I had to find a product that made sense and landed on goat milk soap. 24 recipes later and lots of tweaking I got to where I wanted to be.

My avatar is Daisy Mae, a goat I know. She’s retired like me and living her best goatie life!!

I’ve been reading posts for quite awhile and just became a supporting member.

and my avatar is the Lion of Judah which has a special significance to me and I believe symbolizes strength and dedication.

At one time I had thoughts of growing vegetables and having a little farm stand so this became my e-mail address and username. I have since abandoned that thought but the username and email address remain.
My avatar is one of my cats.

Nice to get to know the folks behind the name and a bit of your journey so far.
My name is my name! My avatar one of my fav soaps I made. Nature is so inspiring for me! I'm an American/Canadian who through life events (love, partnership) come to reside in New Zealand for the last 29 years. Like a few of you when I'm not at my job in Auckland I'm home in the country side ( or as they say in N Z in the bush)off grid in the North Island. Lots of animals and gardening keeps me incredibly content and happy and I believe healthy! I am surrounded by Native trees and much wildlife Do all my soaping in the city when I'm there .(it was taking over the house lol) I joined the forum to be amongst all the creativity, inspiration and learning! Life is good!
