What kind of camera do u use to photo your soap??

Hi, fellas. Was wondering what kind of camera do u guys use to photo your soap? Just curious about that. My present camera is not so great. I think it is not qualified to take nice soap pics. I'm in the market for a so called qualified or perfect one. I'm just attracted by this digital camera (link removed). Am I on the right track? Will I be disappointed? Any other good options? Any input would be appreciated.

My best photos are taken using my panasonic lumix digital camera. It's one of the more expensive digital cameras because of the size of it's optical zoom ... but this is the reason I love it!

I also love the photos I take with my iPhone 4 ... amazing for posting to websites.

My son has a canon SLR ... it's an amazing camera with different lens etc. It cost a fortune (well over a grand) ... but you really need to spend some time taking classes to use the many functions it has. He has taken some amazing photos of my soap ... but to be viewed at the usual size as seen on computer screens, my panasonic lumix photos appear as good.

this person keeps posting new posts with weird questions and links to sites. I didnt click on this one, but have on 2 of his others.

Whats the reason for doing this? Hope its not a virus type thing?

i think he/she is a very clever spammer. they respond and ask questions that are somewhat pertinent to both soaping and the site they are spamming. i no longer click on their links.

Dragonkat - I too have a lumix digi slr and can't wait to get into some serious soap photo taking. Ebay has some great photo tent setups I've been eyeing off. I realise this is an unnecessary requirement but I bet they help ALOT.

............ there's so many FABULOUS places to buy things from other than sites that feel the need to fill up forums with SPAM!!!!!

I have a Nikon D3100 and I pink sparkly heart it...my pics are by no means awesome but they'll do till I can learn the awesomeness of my camera lol.

Let me just say awesome a few more times for good measure...awesome....awesome....there thats good, don't you think lol
