I made a soap that had cocoa butter in it and then added chocolate FO as well. It smells heavenly! I'm not even a chocoholic, but I want to eat this soap! I also made my first charcoal soap. I'm so excited because it is truly black and smells perfect with a mix of tea tree oil and lavender. I also made a 100% coconut (20% superfat) with "clean cotton" scent. It was nice, but accelerated quite a bit. I'll post pics later - they are really pretty!

Jenny -

Your soaps are gorgeous. I especially love the Honey one. It looks so elegant. Whimper...and my soap looks like dog poop.

Wow you girls ( and guys ) are so creative , those soaps are amazing , my soaps are so plain jane lol......but I am hopefully going to learn heaps from u lot,

beautiful you guys ! I had company from out of town, so no time for soaping.
On the other hand my guests & my boss bought 70 bars of soap from me for X mas gifts & stocking stuffers.
My shelves are barren, gotta get soaping but I'm feeling crunched for time I'm supposed to have 5 family members staying with me for 5 days over Xmas ( & they are kinda high maintenance) With all the cooking & cleaning I still won't have any time.
I'm hoping it snows like crazy or that I come down with a sudden contagious illness on the 23rd so I can have a peaceful quiet Xmas,
just me and my soap addiction.
I think I better call Dr. Drew...... I got a problem

I made home for the holidays, angel, lemongrass, coc lime verbena, no pics sorry.

I experimented with some tarts this weekend. I have too much soap, I am trying to find something else to make.

Thanks for the tutorial. As usual, it's wonderful! So inspiring. But then I always find your blog inspiring!!

Thank you so much for that tutorial! I can't wait to try it!
This weekend I made a Wedding Cake scented batch and used the funnel pour and I made a batch that came out reminding me of either Buttered Rum or Christmas Eggnog and it wasn't supposed to be either!!

AGriffin - thanks so much for the tutorial - you are truly talented!

Thanks..too bad it smells..well..not at all like I was hoping. But I'll try again and if the hemp is really unhappy with the heat and the lye then I'll save it for m&p soap instead..it's such a beautiful green when it's dried and sitting in a bag that it's a real shame to see it go so dark.
