What can I do with old lye

I found some old potassium hydroxide in my stash and tested. When adding it to the water is doesn't heat up like it should or make the fizzy sound like it does when it's newer.
What are some things I can used it for since it is too old to make soap with?

Should I just discard it?

Use it as drain cleaner?

You can also use it to make a cleaning solution, but it should be greatly diluted.

You may be able to use it to make liquid soap once you figure the amount of extra KOH you need to fully saponify the batch. I'm in the same boat. My KOH is "flat" when added to the water.
