What Bath & Body Thing Have You Done Today?

Today I made the Thick Cream from the DIY Lotion and Cream recipe. A tiny batch, just 150g since I have additives I am testing, and I’ve never made this option from the concentrate. I used 1% of: oat hydrolysate, IPM, Colloidal oats, Aloe Vera gel 100x, and Argan Oil for the additives. FO is BB Lychee Red Tea. So far, I am really liking it - feels lovely, made my dry hands soft and hydrated, and smells great. Packaged up the little 3g green jars as samples for my tester friends - they don’t hold as much as I thought they would when I got them on clearance from WSP but they are cute.

I have become totally addicted to shower steamers. Today I made 3 - 200 gram batches. Orange, peppermint/eucalyptus and a sinus relief blend. All with menthol. Small batches as I’m still experimenting with eo and menthol strengths. This batch I used 4% of each. Last batch was 2% of each and that’s just a bit lighter than I like.

Those green jars are adorable! I bet they'd be the perfect size for lip balm.

I made the DIY Foaming Sugar Scrub for a second time. I added in some jojoba beads for additional scrub and for a fun speckled look. Cutting a large tip off the piping bag made it much easier to get in the jars.
A smidge of NS Love Song mica, and WSP CandyCane Marshmallow FO.

I made some beard oil from a Humble Bee recipe and a 2nd attempt at a shave soap. I’m about to cry about my first try, I don’t know where my head was at, I used Cocoa butter instead of coconut oil Good thing it was a small 10 oz batch!

My bearded family loves the oil so that’s a win, dropping off round 2 of the shave soap for testing for my non bearded family

It is a snowy day here and drivers have lost their minds so I decided to stay home. Made a shampoo bar and a couple conditioner bars. I even got my challenge soap in the mold.

I live outside a small town and the stretch of highway near us has had one wreck after another. Friday, the roads were clear and dry and there were 3 accidents in about a 15 mile area. One was a fatality. Today there was at least one more a couple miles south and another “incident” where a guy was driving erratically, pulled over and started “throwing a tantrum” outside of his vehicle. I don’t know what has been happening up here but if I don’t have to drive when it’s snowing I don’t.
