It’s cold here too. Our high was below freezing and it’s currently 16F at 6pm. We are in for more cold. I still prefer this to the hot summers of North Carolina.

Today I made a batch of Buffy Bars, I have decided I can’t live without one in my shower for dry winter skin. Then I made three scents of shower steamers. Let me just rant for a minute…. If the first batch I made (last month) had been this stinking hard I would have chucked it all in the trash and never attempted again. The first round went pretty well, orange/menthol. The second batch was spearmint/menthol. I couldn’t get the ratio of wet to dry ingredients balanced. I probably made 15-20 attempts to get the four pucks that I made. Batch 3 was my sinus relief blend and that was probably another 10-15 attempts to get 4 finished pucks. Geeze. Yes, there was cursing. I learned some stuff that will hopefully remember next time.
Personally, anything under 50 degrees sucks for me.....the temp. in Melbourne looks dang good right now. So hey what are "Buffy Bars?"

So, why in particular Melbourne it's a heatwave and people are dropping like flys with heat exhaustion. Another day here tomorrow with 38, way too hot to deal with.

I'm not in Melbourne, but it's still going to be hot tomorrow at 38, we don't have air conditioning - our air con is a window :p.
I guess I am used to 100 but we do have air conditioners. It's snowing here & I prefer heat. I have never been to Australia but plan on going in a couple years. We don't drop like flies but @ 110 we do open up cooling shelters. We will use lots of fans too. I think it's easier to cool down than warm up, but others say the opposite. I would like to be anywhere the weather is at least 80.
