It got hot really fast and the top was starting to crack so I threw it in the freezer to chill out. I used palm and lard in this, is this stearic specs? No zaps.

Not if it's not big chunks of it. I use pureed carrots in one of my castile soaps all the time & have not had any mold or rancidity issues.
