This is my first try at CPOPing. The micas changed color due to using Tamanu and Hemp oil. The colors remind me of Friendly’s Wattamelon roll. The picture is much bluer than it really looks, more of a greenish look irl. This was a test for CPOPing so didn’t really care that the colors changed so much. Came out of the mold like a dream and definitely has such a different feel than the last couple of batches that didn’t gel.

Does anybody else out there notice big color differences between colors in real life and what ends up on your iPhone? This soap is so much greener in real life than in this photo. I should have color corrected before posting.

I don't use an iPhone, so I can't respond to that part of the question.

My cell phone takes spectacular photos, but those aren't the ones I use for posting to SMF. I actually use my Canon SLR for that. But yes, colors don't always turn out true. Does your camera app have exposure settings or other settings that you can experiment with to get truer colors? It might be worth looking into.

Sometimes altered colors can be caused by lighting, as well. But often if the camera has a lot of special effect settings, just finding the right one is all that is needed. If that doesn't do it, you can often edit the photo to bring the colors more true to what you see.
